Notice of Annual General Meeting ICOM Australia, 5 November 2026, Canberra
The 2026 Annual General Meeting of the International Council of Museums Australian Committee Incorporated (ICOM Australia) will be held on 5 November 2026 at 1.00pm AEST in the Members Dining Room, Museum of Australian Democracy at Old Parliament House, Canberra
For those ICOM Australia Members wishing to join remotely, a video link will be provided ahead of the AGM.
This is an election year and there are several vacancies on the Executive Board.
Any resolutions for consideration at the AGM should be lodged via the email address below with the ICOM Australia National Secretary by 5.00pm AEST 2 October 2026.

Nominate for the ICOM Australia Executive Board
ICOM Australia Executive Board Members are elected for a two-year term and Membership of the Board is limited to six consecutive years. 2026 is an election year and several Board positions have become vacant.
Nominations for the Executive Board are called for the positions of:
- Chair
- Vice Chair
- Treasurer
- Secretary
- Membership Secretary
- And up to 6 Ordinary Executive Board Members
Only current financial ICOM Australia members can nominate and/or stand (includes Institutional representatives)
. In the event that more than one nomination is received for a position(s), a ballot will be conducted.

Nomination forms should include a brief biography, motivations and suitability for the role, location, motivation for nominating and perceptions of ICOM and should be lodged with an accompanying 1 page CV by 5.00pm AEST Sunday 20 September 2026 with the National Secretary, ICOM Australia via email: info@icom.org.au
