2023 Disaster preparedness calendar launch online Thursday 13 October
Blue Shield Australia and the Australian Institute for the Conservation of Cultural Material (AICCM) is proud to present the 2023 Disaster Preparedness Calendar.
ICOM Australia Members are invited to join in for online launch on the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction, Thursday 13 October at 7 pm, Australian Eastern Daylight Savings Time.
The event will incorporate presentations and a discussion about the response and recovery of cultural material following the Lismore flood.
Speakers include Brett Adlington (CEO Museums and Galleries NSW), Kay Söderlund (Preservation Australia), Julie McCarthy (Papers Past Conservation), Julian Bickersteth (International Conservation Services), Joan Kelly (Museum Advisor), Chris Ianna (disaster recovery and conservation specialist)
